
Rick Hoffman
Rick has over 20 years of experience in real estate specializing in farms, investment land, commercial properties, and multifamily properties. Prior to this he was a was a grain and livestock farmer for many years before earning his Real Estate Broker’s license in 1989. His farming experience enables him to apply his extensive knowledge of land and soil types to his profession. In 2006 Rick also became a licensed Real Estate Broker in Wisconsin to better serve his growing clientele. As broker/owner of Hoffman Realty, Rick adheres to a strict philosophy of providing extensive research and analysis of the properties Hoffman Realty represents. This ensures the buyer and seller that complete and accurate information is provided.
Rick is a member of the DeKalb Area Association of Realtors (and Illinois and National Realtor Associations), the Realtors Land Institute, the Northern Illinois Farmland Brokers, Internet Multiple Listing Service(MLS) of Midest Real Estate Data LLC (serving Cook, Lake, Kane, Du Page, McHenry, Kendal,Grundy, Boone, Winnebago, Ogle and DeKalb Counties), The Internet MLS of Rockford Area Association of Realtors, internet commercial listing services of LoopNet and CoStar, Internet listing service of Trulia, the DeKalb County Building and Development Association, the DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation, the Kishwaukee River Ecosystem Partnership and the Kirkland Lions Club. In addition he is a Genoa Chamber of Commerce member and the developer for the residential subdivisions of Sunflower knoll, Briar Lind in Sycamore,IL, along with Derby Estates and Oak Creek Estates in Genoa, IL. During off hours Rick can be found in his sea kayak paddling flowing rivers or playing the waves on Lake Superior, or in his wood shop.
